To draw Chilly Willy I used Adobe Illustrator.
You can also use Paint Shop Pro or any other program you like.
You can even break out a sketch pad and try it free-hand.
Give it a try, it's pretty easy.

Once you have this down, use small variations to change his pose.

Send in your original pictures to be displayed
in the Chilly Willy Fan-Art section.

How to Draw Chilly Willy: (step-by-step)
Hat - Face - Body

  1. First we'll work on his hat. Draw a circle and fill it in red.

  2. Draw a triangle with a black border and white fill.

  3. Draw this shape (a triangle with the top cut off) and fill it red.

  4. Put steps 1-3 together. You've just created Chilly's hat.

  5. Next we'll work on Chilly's face. Draw this shape for the white part of his head.

  6. Draw this shape for the black part of his head.

  7. Put the white and black pieces of his head together.

  8. Add the hat to what you have done on the head so far.

  9. Draw an oval like so for the eyes.

  10. I drew a second one that is slightly more round for the left eye.
    (You can probably just use the same picture for both eyes)

  11. Put the two eyes together.

  12. Add the eyes to the picture.

  13. Draw an oval for the cheek.

  14. Add the cheek to the picture.

  15. For the top of the mouth, draw this shape.

  16. This shape is for the bottom of Chilly's mouth.

  17. Put the top and bottom mouth pieces together.

  18. Combine the mouth with the rest of the picture. You've now completed Chilly's face.
