Chilly and Maxie make a fire and accidentally melt a baby wooly mammoth out of the ice. They try to feed the baby and make it happy, but don't have much luck. Finally the baby's mother comes to take care of him.
Gooney's landings are ungraceful and incredibly funny so Chilly and Maxie help Gooney learn how to make smoother landings.
This episode has everyone: Chilly, Maxie, Gooney, & Smedley. Chilly goes with Gooney to Smedley's store, but he is closing the store for the winter and chases them out. Gooney and Chilly land back at the igloo where Maxie has caught a single small fish.
Smedley and Colonel Pot Shot get away from the smog and go to a resort, but Chilly has moved into the resort and now Smedley has to kick him out.
Chilly & Maxie chase away a man trying to build an oil well near their home.
